Should Meth, Herion and Crack users, dealers and producers be executed?

TODDEST asked:

I believe in some good old fashion Storm Trooper Death Squads to put a violent and graphic end to the drug problem in the US.
The Department of Justice should create it.

Death for everyone involved from the loser user to the drug cartels.
Users, Dealers, Distributers, Wholesaler, Manufactuers.
Of the following drugs; GHB, ecstacy (X), Meth, herion, cocaine, Crack-Cocaine.
the motto for the Government’s Storm Troop Death Squad would be “Involved in Drugs, you die.” -
I should have stated “Addicts” instead of “Users”

The problem is not with the dealers; it is the buyers.
People become buyers as an escape from reality.
Such as people who drink, people who smoke.

As long as there is buyers, there will always be drug dealers. No matter how many you kill. Others will take their place.

I think so. They have killed so many people, some big dealers literally thousands. I live in Detroit, and everyone I know over 15 pretty much has already destroyed their life with drugs.

NO, its the buyers, but I do believe the dealers ruin peoples lives also, but the people who buy need to be responsible for their actions.

I don’t believe in capital punishment at all, I do think they should sever time, and the dealers a lot of it too. Teens who get involved should definitely have to go to juvy for a while… It is a problem that needs to be solved.

want to know something about the drug trade? ask the cia and dea how much they steal and sell on the streets so they can supplement their income. want to solve the drug problem? nuke the colombians and mexicans and the french and the mafia and the arabs and the afghanis and anyone else who is tainted by thew drug business, including the bankers who laundrer the profits for a hefty fee, and the diplomats who are afraid to speak up. get enough of them to glow in the dark and there would be no drug problem. or drugs either.

Liberals would never let that happen. Executing addicts no. Dealers and producers, fine. It has to be large quantity.

You touch on the point that if we eliminate demand, drug problem solved. The same holds for illegal immigration. Take their jobs away and they have to leave.

your crazy

all that crazy talk is nuts but the dealers should be taken down not the users. they are ruining the hard workers in the united states. i think that the users would not be part of the problem if there was no problem to begin with.

I do not totally agree with you, but I do feel something has to be done. The death penalty maybe a bit harsh, but tougher penalties should be applied to users and dealers alike.

Drugs are the root of 75% of our crime. Your users can not afford their habit and resort in stealing, robbing, and prostitution to pay for more drugs.

Your dealers use violence to protect their investment. A lot of our gangs are heavily into drug trafficking and also use violence to control their drug turf.

The way the Laws are set up today punishes the dealer more than the user, but if there was no one demanding the drug, then there would be no need for the dealers. That’s why the users need the same penalty as the dealer.

In Texas today, a first time offender caught with less than 2 oz of Marijuana is only breaking a class B Misdemeanor. That’s one step above a speeding ticket and usually results in little to no jail time.

Now imagine if the penalty were a Second Degree Felony. That’s just below premeditated murder, and comes with not jail time, but hard Prison time for several years.

If that first time offender knew the risk he was taking in getting caught, I do not believe he would have made the wrong decision.
