I have heard that either crack or cocaine addicts scratch and itch there neck and chin area a lot?
Is this true hah?

Chronic users sometimes scratch themselves raw because they think bugs are crawling on them. They also suffer constipation due to dehydration or lack of fiber, their muscles cramp from low magnesium and potassium levels.
In other words, crack addicts are paranoid.

its due to the irritation in the throat when inhaled (if liquefied and injected then this will not occur)
the reason this is true with cocaine and not smoked drugs is because when someone snorts cocaine, the substance is very coarse and not very fine, so the drug may deposit in the esophagus. When drugs are smoked, the substance is more than likely broken down or refined in a way that it is too fine to be caught. hope that helps ya
