Like most diseases/conditions, there are current treatments that are gradually being researched and improved over time…however, no “cure” is in sight. In general, to cure addiction, it takes alot of will power.

You might be suprised that the same cure is for all drugs, it’s called abstaining or quitting them.

I’m with Lunagoddess on this one, the best way to not get hooked on a drug is to not take it in the first place. However if someone is hooked on a drug its not really going to help pumping even more drugs into your system. Cocaine is a very powerful drug therefore you would need an equally powerful drug to counteract it….ie-you risk getting hooked onto this new drug in your system. Really the best thing to do is also the most difficult; wean yourself off of it gradually and wait until its totally clean and clear of your system. Thats really the only way.

Like using methadone to “cure” heroin addiction? Trading one problem for another. Just get help and quit.
