The CIA has a long, ugly history of horrific crimes including murder, the overthrow of democratically elected governments, selling drugs (they introduced crack cocaine to black neighborhoods in LA), etc.

Pelosi and the Democrats, on the other hand, misled the liberals who vetoed for them both in the mid-terms and the Obama election as Pelosi upon becoming Speaker immediately declared, “Impeachment is off the table.” Obama, meanwhile continues to promote, and in fact escalate, the criminal and widely hated Bush agenda of imperialist war abroad, gifting of the treasury to the rich banksters and he’s lining up to attack Social Security in a way that the Republicans have always dreamed.

The CIA.

Pelosi has been caught speaking with a forked tongue.

She should have copped to it in the first place and merely followed it up with saying that the information was top secret and she wasn’t allowed to say anything about the torture techniques to the press or other members of Congress.

That in turn, would have put the onus back on Bush & Co.

First off they all are liars including Pelosi, i don’t like her, her attitude is counter productive and its all about passing the buck. That being said i don’t condemn her for being duped by the Bush administration just like most Americans were. We have been lied to about all things concerning Iraq since the get go. For example, there were no WMDs, the is no connection between Iraq and Al Queda, we have been told time and time again America doesn’t torture, when what it comes down to is America doesn’t torture for the truth but to substantiate lies with false confessions that they didn’t even get.

CIA and politicians (in all parties) lie professionally. It has not yet been proven who is lying in this case. I hope Speaker Pelosi is telling the truth, but nothing would surprise me.
