Whats this book.For young adults?

Its about a girl who leaves home and I think becomes an orphin.She goes to live in a train or subway station.
She gets addicted to crack or cocaine or some serious drug and has to go to rehab.I remeber her getting lice.
I never finished it.
Do you know the name or any books that deal with similar stuff so I can read them aswell?
