How can I approach my family and admit to my addiction to crack/cocaine? I’m so afraid that I will disappoint them and that they will be angry with me. But it’s time that I come (and become) clean and I need their help. Any advice or experiences??

My cousin has an addiction problem to crack cocaine. She will not go to rehab. Can I have the local authorities come and Baker Act my cousin and have her “taken away” to get treatment for her crack addiction problem?

One of my best friends is seriously strung out on crack, she is 45 years old, and have kids and grandkids. We would all like to see her clean up her act, before it is to late. She is not in the best of health, besides the drug addiction.

Is there anyone here who has successfully set up an intervention with a loved one or a friend, and it worked? If so, please share.
