Regarding sentences of cocaine versus crack?

I note that many black activists are upset because the sentencing for crack cocaine is harsher than the sentence for powdered coke, and that blacks are more likely to be busted with crack than whites. I wonder why no one is outraged about the fact that these crack dealers are stealing the youth of black America and turning them intio addicts and crack whores.I would think you would want severe punishment for these dealers of poison.It doesn’t matter as much to me in my middle class neighborhood as it should to those who see the effects every day.
